😴 Have you ever used melatonin, magnesium or l-Theanine to help you sleep?

We all know that feeling of being desperate to fall asleep, but it’s just not happening - and you spend the night tossing and turning, dreading how tired you’ll feel in the morning.

Whilst chemically-induced sleep isn’t ideal, it’s still preferable to no sleep at all.

But taking sleep supplements habitually, particularly in higher doses, is something to be wary of.

Dr Lila Landowski, neuroscientist and lecturer, recommends using sleep supplements sporadically rather than habitually, so that you don’t become completely reliant on them in order to fall, or stay, asleep.
